Welcome!
The Knight Players is the official name of the Scranton High School Drama Club. Our group is made up of a very diverse group of talented, creative and energetic students dedicated to their love of the stage. Their interests encompass all aspects of production from acting, singing and dancing to design of sets, costumes, props and lights and an appreciation of advertising, publicity and stage management. Together we strive to have fun while learning new skills and maintaining a level of professionalism that we can all be proud of.
Each year we raise all of the funds necessary to mount a full scale theatrical production. This year we’ll be presenting Annie on March 15-19, 2013. With a cast of over 68 and an orchestra, backstage and production crew that include almost as many more, we directly impact the lives of many students here at Scranton High. We also plan to increase our appreciation of professional theater by attending a Broadway show in May.
Since “all the world’s a stage,” we hope that you will join us, support us, or at the very least, applaud our efforts.
